Portrait session with a federal judge

We always try to show someone’s personality in a portrait. Sometimes, photographing someone who is in certain professions, such as law enforcement or judges, is difficult because they are very guarded.

I had photographed this judge previously, so I knew I’d be able to capture a nice portrait. It worked out even better than I expected, and we collaborated on a great set of portraits.
