Higher education marketing photos for advertising campaign
Last year we spent two days photographing students at Ramapo College in New Jersey. We produced a huge new photo library with a large variety of activities at the school.
One of the goals was to produce images for a large advertising campaign displayed at the very busy Secaucus train station. The photos are now on display throughout the train station and they look great.

I’m fortunate to have Rutgers University as one of my largest clients. Recently, I was asked to create business-style portraits of the new president of the Newark alumni association.
We used a number of the most photogenic spots on the Newark campus as backgrounds. The goal of the photoshoot was to create a wide variety of photos that could be used throughout the year. We also asked the subject to bring a variety of outfits.
A few times a year I photograph corporate headshots for a financial services firm. I photograph new employees and people who want to refresh their previous headshot.
The company asks me to shoot a wide vertical portrait that can be cropped to a tight headshot if necessary. Their office is very bright and modern so it makes a great background. We usually shoot portraits of each person in two or three locations around the office then each person picks their favorite for the company website.
It’s always exciting to see your portraits used so well on the cover of a magazine.
For this portrait session, we photographed executives of the New Jersey Education Association inside a school in Union.
I have been fortunate to photograph the association’s leadership for a number of years.
