Missionary portrait

Adam LiVecchi was on a missionary trip to Haiti when the massive earthquake rocked the country. The room where he was sleeping was destroyed but he was uninjured. Through the kindness of a stranger he managed to get on a plane back to the United States.

One of the cool aspects of being a photojournalist for a major publication is that sometimes the newsmakers come to you. Recently Governor Christie visited the Star-Ledger offices in Newark to discuss the details of his controversial budget.
