It’s time to pick my favorite wedding venue from 2009. There are so many ways to judge: outstanding service and staff, sheer beauty, best food, best photo backgrounds, etc…
Some of my favorites are the Grand Summit Hotel (click to see wedding photos) , the Lambertville Inn (click to see wedding photos), The Lobster Shanty in Point Pleasant, The Mill at Spring Lake Heights, the Park Avenue Club in Florham Park. Each has something great to offer.
In 2010 I’m looking forward to weddings at the Hyatt Regency in Jersey City (click to see wedding photos), the Mansion at Bretton Woods (click here to see Bretton Woods wedding photos), the Woodcliff Manor, the Stone House (click here to see a Stone House reception) and many others.
Ok, enough stalling. The envelope, please!
My favorite wedding venue for 2009 was the Mallard Island Yacht Club (click here to see a Mallard Island wedding)near Long Beach Island. It’s a truly stunning venue right on Barnegat Bay. The unique groom shack, the boathouse chapel and the great photo backgrounds put it into first place.
And since it’s about 20 degrees outside right now it’s nice to think about photographing a beach wedding.
