Monthly Archives: January 2010 So I’m driving on Route 1 north in Elizabeth and there it is. A huge billboard featuring my photo of the Star-Ledger’s political team. Very cool!  I love photographing chefs. They do what it takes to make a great portrait even though they have extremely busy schedules. All the chefs involved in the new “Top Chefs” issue of Inside Jersey magazine are no exception. Ariane Duarte is the chef/owner of CulinAriane in Montclair. Her excellent food keeps the restaurant packed and…  The opportunity to photograph a portrait of two governors does not happen often. Former New Jersey governors Tom Kean and Brendan Byrne write a weekly political column for the Star-Ledger. A recent newspaper redesign required new portraits for all the paper’s columnists. The two governors were the last to be photographed so the lighting and…  It’s time to pick my favorite wedding venue from 2009. There are so many ways to judge: outstanding service and staff, sheer beauty, best food, best photo backgrounds, etc… Some of my favorites are the Grand Summit Hotel (click to see wedding photos) , the Lambertville Inn (click to see wedding photos), The Lobster Shanty… |
