They were a lively group of thirteen so we tried to capture some family fun. First he held a private big-bucks fundraiser then a very large free rally at the PNC Bank Arts Center in Holmdel. A lovely couple, crystal clear weather for the ceremony on the beach in Mantoloking, a string trio, doves, dolphins swimming in the ocean, and reception at the scenic Lobster Shanty in Point Pleasant Beach. The whole affair (except the dolphins) was coordinated by Robin Divine of…  Amy Nutt is one of my favorite reporters. Last year she was a Pulitzer Prize finalist and recently we worked together on a remarkable story on kidney donation. So I jumped at the chance when the editors at the American Journalism Review asked me to photograph her for an upcoming story.  I am very happy to let everybody know that I’ve been accepted in the Wedding Photojournalist Association. It’s an organization of photographers, like myself, who document weddings in a candid, unobtrusive style.
