Many celebrities forget their hometown when they become famous. Queen Latifah is not one of those people. Today I spent the morning with the Newark native as she led a bus tour to help educate people who are on the brink of foreclosure. The beautiful window light helped to create a great portrait.

Today I received a Google Alert that The Guardian, one of England’s largest newspapers, had published one of my photos with a story about Newark Mayor Cory Booker. I’m sure Booker is pleased, the article is titled ” The next president of America?”.
