Monica Montoya left work early to pick up her child. Along the way a woman was struck by a bus. Montoya did not witness the accident but stopped to help the victim.
After cooperating with police she is arrested as she attempts to borrow a cell phone.
The incident (except the actual arrest) was captured on a police car camera. The police refused to release any information about the incident but Montoya’s attorney allowed the Star-Ledger to copy the tape.
