Bound Brook has once again been hit hard by heavy flooding.
The flooding was so extensive the fire department could not fight a fire that burned three homes to the ground.
As I was photographing the remains of the homes, the residents of one house arrived to sift through for family photos and valuables.
You never know how people will react as you document the worst moments of their lives. These people were very gracious. I even received an email from the woman’s mother in law thanking us for the audio slideshow. She explained that she lived in Texas didn’t have the money to come to New Jersey to help her son.
