Marine Lieutenant John Wroblewski was killed in Ramadi, Iraq. His father, John, was able to visit Iraq and meet the people who tried to save his son’s life.
David Swanson, a photographer at the Philadelphia Inquirer, photographed John in Iraq the day before he died. So I interviewed John’s father at the family home in Morris county and combined the interview with the photos by David Swanson, family photos and photos taken by two of our photographers at John’s funeral.
